Saving on your water bill can be quite simple.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has made it easier for you to find water-efficient appliances and fixtures. Look for the “WaterSense” seal of approval on items such as toilets, faucets and landscape irrigation systems. Rest assured that your EPA-approved product conserves at least 20 percent more water than industry standards. To learn more about these sensible goods, go to www.epa.gov/watersense. It cuts water use by 50 percent to 70 percent and can save a family of four up to $250 a year.
