Klean Kanteens were just a few of the many eco-friendly products on display at the Go Green Expo in New York.

The Go Green Expo returned to New York City for the third time over the weekend, featuring speakers, panels and businesses that showcased ways people can live in an increasingly earth-conscious world. From green business practices to eco-friendly fashions, the expo covered a variety of topics that all fell under the umbrella of green living.

Natural Home’s Editor-in-Chief Robyn Griggs Lawrence was featured as one of the speakers in a panel discussion called “Living Eco-Logically,” which focused on everyday ways to go green. Other speakers during the weekend included celebrity activists Ed Begley Jr., Mariel Hemingway and Matthew Modine.

More than 200 exhibitors displayed eco-friendly products that showed the public how to lessen their impact on the environment. Companies such as Home Depot, Volkswagen and General Motors all showcased their environmentally responsible products. Other featured items included Marcal paper products, Cot’nWash cleaning products and Kleen Kanteen stainless steel water bottles.

Two more Expos are scheduled for 2010; one in Philadelphia from April 16-18 and one in Atlanta from May 21-23. All expos are open to the public with the purchase of an event ticket, which starts at $10.
