Somewhere over the double rainbow is where your energy-efficient dome home and dreams come true. This is a whimsical snapshot of a double rainbow made even more magical by the presence of an unconventional home, a “dome home.” This dome home, built by CU photographer wardblvd, has been featured several times as our Photo of the Week. His energy-efficient dome home is located in Wisconsin and was built by the photographer from the ground up. The home has naturally lighted rooms, a greenhouse, and is running on renewable energy such as wood-burning biomass and solar power.
Thanks to CU photographer wardblvd for an enchanting shot of his dome home. See his Scenery Gallery for more captivating shots of nature and land.
And don’t forget to submit your photos to the CU photo-sharing site for a chance to be the Photo of the Week! The winning photo is taken from that week’s submissions only. Plus, you could also be featured in the magazine sometime.
Remember to include captions and give your gallery a name all its own. The more we know about an image, the more we can take from it.
