Nature lover, mom of two sons, wife, producer, storyteller, and educator are just some of the words that describe Quita Jackson. She is the co-founder and host of GreenDesert.org, a site dedicated to leaving less of a carbon footprint by mimicking nature.

Quita graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelors degree in Broadcast Journalism. Immediately after graduation, her career with ABC News in Phoenix began. Quita produced and created shows full-time for 20 years before recently retiring to focus on sustainability.

Through free videos, Quita has been showing people ways to be more self-sufficient and green before being green became popular, when it was still considered taboo. But Quita didn't let it distract her from what she knew the world and her family needed. From helping build school gardens, to building off grid shipping container homes, to sharing backyard to kitchen recipes, Quita Jackson truly lives a sustainable lifestyle and strives for zero waste.

Her passion for love, family, fun and nature is addicting, and it shows on her GreenDesert TV YouTube page. GreenDesert TV has more than 100 videos, attracting nearly five million views. So check out her site to read or watch more about her and how she can help you fall in love with nature, live your best life and save the planet at the same time.
