In Episode 140 of Mother Earth News and Friends, we dive into Suzanne Tabert’s book, Wild & Beautiful. Suzanne shares why crafting your own body care solutions – from moisturizers to toothpastes – can be beneficial for your skin. We also discuss what health and beauty means, not from the lens of the next quick-fix product but from a lifestyle of care and learning that what you have is enough.
Suzanne Tabert is a bioregional herbalist, adjunct faculty member at Bastyr University, and Director of Herbal Education at Cedar Mountain Herb School. Her passion is taking students to wild places and giving them tools to engage and connect with flora, fauna, and the exquisite beauty of nature. Suzanne has been inspiring thousands of students with a passion and excitement for all-natural living for over 30 years. She is a member of the American Herbalists Guild and Partner in Education at United Plant Savers. She is the author of Wild and Beautiful, Naturally! a botanical skin care book for those who wish to glow with good health from the inside out, now available in its second publication with MOTHER EARTH NEWS.
