Nothing can spoil a nice day or evening outdoors faster than a group of hungry mosquitoes. This is an effective natural mosquito repellent to have on hand, especially if you’re entertaining outdoors and have a flying-pest issue in your yard. You can fill small bottles and place them in a large basket near your seating area for guests to use individually. Yield: about 16 ounces.
- 2 cups witch hazel
1-1/2 tsp lemongrass or citronella essential oil - 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Directions: Combine all ingredients and pour them into a large spray bottle or several smaller bottles. To use, shake slightly to re-blend, and then spray onto your skin.
