The deer pressure is starting to feel like a threat for the first time this year. Our solution is 5 foot high chicken wire where in some places another 5 foot high fence is only 9 feet away, which usually makes a deer think twice before jumping somewhere he or she can’t jump back out of and also functions as a pasture area for our flock.
