Name: Warren McKenney
Occupation: Adjunct college instructor, sustainable residential building contractor, and musician
Place of Residence: Marinette, Wisconsin
Background and Personal History: Warren was born and raised in the Menominee, Michigan, and Marinette, Wisconsin, areas, as the two are sister cities. He attended Menominee High school, University of Wisconsin Marinette campus before taking continuing education classes in teaching. Attended Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, again taking teaching classes on a part-time basis. In 2001 Warren became a college instructor at N.W.T.C., teaching in the construction areas using curriculum he authored.
Current Projects: Warren is currently starting workshops on building string instruments and restoration, using recycled, re-claimed, and repurposed materials. His goal is to travel and put on workshops on the subject.
Other Fun Facts: Warren loves performing with his handmade instruments. He also has an undying passion for old cars, especially fat-fendered vehicles.
