Background: Norma is a television writer with a fixation for land, horses and gardening. From the time she first learned to grow marigolds in Brownie Scouts, she has loved to grow things. After her grandmothers taught her to knit, crochet and sew, he became obsessed with making things. Finally, when Norma was able to own a horse of her own, she became obsessed with caring for things. Norma has been lucky enough to have the job of making people laugh or moving them to tears and she hopes to do that again with her writing for MOTHER EARTH NEWS.
Current Projects: Norma owns a small business with her son-in-law and daughter making rope baskets: TetherMade.com. She is learning surface pattern design, illustration, watercolor and digital art, and teaching her grandkids to be self-starters and curiosity-seekers.
