Background: Mia has always had a passion for animals and the environment, and her conservation work has taken her many exciting places: rehabilitating wildlife in the Pacific Northwest, helping endangered iguanas in Mexico, teaching predator coexistence in Namibia, and promoting farm animal welfare in Zanzibar, to name a few. Mia is currently living in Sweden and building an eco-friendly tiny house on wheels. She is the proud owner of a rambunctious pre-toddler and currently expecting another bundle of joy. She is also very passionate about sustainable parenting.
Current Projects: Mia is Volunteer Coordinator for The Orangutan Project USA, a grant writer for Conservation South Luangwa and a copywriter for Faunalytics.
