Occupation: Ranch consultant
Place of Residence: Colden, New York
Background and Personal History: Meg graduated from West Virginia University in 2012 with a degree in livestock management, and a minor in agribusiness. While at WVU, Meg won a statewide entrepreneurship competition with a patentable device she designed for video-assisted cattle artificial insemination. She then spent six months interning for grazing expert Greg Judy in Missouri.
Meg’s articles have been published at www.OnPasture.com and in Progressive Forage Grower magazine. She now runs Rhinestone Cattle Company, a mob-grazing beef operation built on leased land and custom grazing. Meg is also a ranch consultant helping new and experienced farmers build profitable grazing operations. She offers artificial insemination, grass cattle brokerage, electric fence building and graphic design services, too. She travels nationwide for on-farm consulting and speaking at conferences.
