Background and Personal History: John has traveled and worked throughout the world. Like Cheech, he was born in East Los Angeles. John brought the first surf board to Israel. Other Fun Facts: As a single parent, John raised a boy who is entering a doctorate program at UCLA in organic chemistry. John doesn’t have a car but rides his bike at least 20 miles per day. He has climbed some of the highest peaks in North America.
