Background: Jerry owns 10 acres of land that is mixed trees, brush, and grass. He uses his tractor for mowing, grading, and chipping. During his 30 years in the computer/IT field — which he has done to pay the bills — Jerry has maintained an enduring interest in homesteading and traditional skills. Because he doesn’t use a tractor to generate income, he can work with old, used equipment. He also has interests in metal working, and keeps bees with his son.

Current Projects: Jerry is working to build a homestead and farm stand while planting a market garden.
