Background: Amanda grew up in rural Minnesota browsing cookbooks and helping care for her family’s garden. After pursuing a degree in creative writing, she moved back to Minneapolis and spends her free time trying new recipes, going to farmers markets, and practicing urban gardening, and writing about everything she learns.
